The card I have chosen to make for this blog hop is in some gorgeous colours that together shout “Celebration” to me. It would work in many colour combinations to be suitable for lots of occasions.
The stamp and die bundle is brand new and if you want to make last minute Christmas cards it’s an investment that’s not just for that!
Get everything you need together.

• White card base, 14.8cm x 21cm scored at 10.5cm
• Coastal Cabana mat layer 14.3cm x 10cm.
• Basic white stamping layer.13.8cm x 9.5cm
• Inks Coastal Cabana, Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight, card scraps in the same 3 colours Swirled Designs Bundle, Stampin’ Cut n Emboss machine, paper trimmer, multipurpose adhesive.

Use the swirly circle stamp to stamp onto the white stamping layer with your 3 ink colours. I have included 2 examples. The first and second generation stamping results. You can see that the stamped off version gives a softer colour. I then added star showers using the same inks.

Next, die cut your star shapes out of scraps in the same 3 colours. My intention was to use adhesive paper that I just needed to peel off but as ever I forgot! I only ever remember as I am carefully trying to put multipurpose adhesive onto the fiddly bits. These 2 pictures show the stars on the 2 different backgrounds. I decided to go with the version on the left below.

Carefully apply adhesive to the back of the stars and stick them onto the card layer.

Glue the card layer onto the mat layer and then stick that onto the card base. Die cut or trim a sentiment strip and stamp your greeting. I cut some extra small stars from the yellow card and stuck those on.
