This months blog post is on a “Blue and White” theme. I didn’t need to look much further than white and navy ( Night of Navy in this case) which is one of my favourite colour combos for summer clothing. It always looks so fresh!
I also went with one of my favourite card designs- based on a card I go back to often. I chose 2 products from the Last Chance selection – again some of my favourites, I will be sad to see them go.
Collect all of your things together.

Start by cutting your Designer Series Paper (DSP) into strips measuring 11cm x 4cm
Cut each strip diagonally from corner to corner.
Add a light amount of All Purpose Adhesive onto a piece of Basic White card measuring 13.4cm x 7cm

Start sticking the DSP shapes onto the card. Have a straight line top to bottom in the middle and work to either side of it until you have covered all of the card as shown.

Turn over and use Paper Snips or sharp scissors to trim the edge beyond the white card.

Choose your sentiment and stamp with coordinating ink onto the bottom of a piece of Basic White card measuring 13.4 x 9 cm. Stick the card with the DSP onto the stamped card.

Use glue dots or double sided tape to fasten a piece of ribbon to the edge of the DSP card. Stick onto Night of Navy layer measuring 14.4cm x 10cm.
Stick Night of Navy mat onto A5 Basic White card base.

The resulting finished card is shown below.

Lovely card Angela. I love all the ways you can use cut strips of DSP and this is very effective.
Great technique – fab result. Tfs.
