I couldn’t resist using the Racing By Stamp set for this blog hop. I don’t often have all of my grandchildren together but last month we had a day out with all four.
We played on old arcade games and we had to change our money for old style pennies!
One of the games was a wind up racing car game. The cars looked just like the ones that were racing. I don’t expect to get the vintage colours correct but it will remind me of a happy day whatever.

Below is the completed card and details follow on how to make it.


Collect everything you need

  • Card base in your choice of colour.
  • Basic White piece for inside.
  • 3 pieces Basic White for stamping.
  • 3 mat layers. 1 same colour as card base and one in each of your stamping colours.
  • Ink in each of stamping colours plus Memento.
  • Multi purpose adhesive.
  • Basic Black Stampin’ Write marker.

Stamp the racing car on to 2 of the small white pieces. Use the filler stamp to fill in with your chosen racing car.ink colours.

Stamp a greeting on to the other white piece of card. Mount the racing car pieces on to the matching mat layer.

Stamp the flag and the rosette on to the inside layer and then stick the layer into the card.

Stick the stamped and mounted pieces on to the card front.
Card is finished.
