Late summer has been a busy time for us at Beenbusycrafting. We have had our Canadian cousins visiting so we have had fun being tourists together! It reminded us of the things we used to do pre Covid!
I have had my usual crafty things going on, even managed to fit in doing a couple of technique classes for myself!

Mini Catalogue
The big Stampin Up! © news is of course, the new Mini Catalogue. I was a bit ‘wowed’ when I saw it and there were so many things I wanted to share with you all.

The link to the mini catalogue is on the web site and shown below but if you would like one posting out, just email your details and I will pop one in the post for you.

Upcoming Events

I have arranged a get together to craft with some of the non-Christmas products on October 1.

I am also in the process of setting class dates for the rest of 2023.
My regular Crafty Cream Tea sessions can be booked using the link mentioned below.

The Saturday Sessions will become focussed sessions featuring a different product each time. I will also do this on a midweek Facebook live session so that you can watch on catch up if you don’t complete all of the tasks in the hands on session.

The Monday Soup and Craft sessions with start again now that the weather is changing. Dates will be fortnightly.
To book on any of the events highlighted above please use the link

Pumpkin Card
As you know, I like to share a quick card make with you. This is one I made this week using the Pick of the Patch bundle from Stampin’ Up! ©

Use a scrap of card and cut out all of the shapes in the punch from the bundle. This will now serve as a template for your stamping and punching.

Use the template to stamp and punch one of each of the pumpkins in pumpkin pie ink. I used Wild Wheat for the stalks.
Take a ‘mat layer’ of basic white card (9cm x 14.3cm) and stamp an all over pattern using the pumpkin, leaf and stem stamps. I used Daffodil Delight in addition to the previous two colours. Allow the pattern to go off the edge in places. Use paper trimmer to cut mat layer into 4 pieces.

  • Cut 6cm along top edge to bottom vertically.
  • Cut the pieces again so that they are same width as shown.
  • Cut a piece of matching card stock (9.5cm x 14.8 cm) cut to 6.5cm and then cut to fit the 4 pieces of you stamped mat layer.

Use All purpose adhesive to mat, mount and stick the pieces in position as shown.
Make a simple label and add to your card.

Stick your cut out pumpkins onto card using dimensionals.
