Hello again.
This weather is fantastic…… as long as you can relax and enjoy it! I am looking out on the garden, matching flowers to Stampin Up colours……. Is that foxglove Berry Burst with a touch of Moody Mauve? The irises are definitely Daffodil Delight with a hint Lemon Lolly. Not sure about about the blues on there, maybe Orchid Oasis or Blueberry Bushel.
Anyway, I didn’t plan to chat about the garden. I am just buzzing with ideas from the crafting I have done so far this month. I am loving getting together with real people in person to craft. I now have Stampin’ Up! friendships going back over 6 years. I have crafted with about 20 people in person and over 40 others online in June so far. I have learned so much that I had forgotten, just by crafting with others.
Stampin’ Up! Starter Deals
With Stampin’ Up! I have another ‘family’. I have ladies who have chosen to become SU demonstrators and have chosen me as their upline (SU mummy). They all did this because they love the products and wanted to benefit from the discount they get by being part of the Stampin’ Up! community. They chose the items that they wanted in their ‘Starter Kit’ (£130 of catalogue goodies for £99) and as long as they meet a minimum sales over 3 months, they will get a 20% discount on their orders. I call them the Beenbusy Craftologists!
Stampin’ Up! Team
When I joined, I had to select a demonstrator to be my upline (my SU mum who is years younger than me!). She has a bigger team and encourages us to grow in confidence. We had a great in person gathering of 14 of us (5 of my team went along) and had lots of fun doing fantastic card projects.
Over the weekend I spent a full day on zoom with my ‘Stampin’ Up! granny’ (also years younger than me) making cards using the Little Monkeys bundle. There were 14 of us on the call. We made 8 different cards in the day as can be seen below.
I am going to set up a class using these cheeky monkeys!
Speaking of classes…… have you seen the back page of the catalogue? All of the flowers are made using the Paper Florist and Cheerful Daisy dies – image below. Another class in the pipeline – what colours would you use?
Well, got crafting to do…… another chance to play with the beautiful Designer Series Paper (DSP) while it has a 15% discount!
